  I attended Calvary today for the first time. I must say that There was a great peace in this church that I cannot explain. I felt the presence of the Lord in this church . I can't imagine feeling this way any place else. I love Calvary Baptist Church. And will be attending . Thank you Lord !!

  Having been in some excellent churches over many years, it is refreshing to see God continue to develop His church at Calvary. As a senior member of the congregation, it is easy to fall into the "enemy's" trap of being comfortable and complacent - to think the church exists to meet my needs. I appreciate that the Pastoral Staff has challenged us to stretch spiritually by reaching out to people who need Christ. After all, He longs to "heal hurts and meet needs" through us if we are available to be used by Him.

  This is the first church I've been to that doesn't feel like a bunch of different age-graded groups that meet under 1 roof. Almost all adult classes are co-ed 18+, so you really get a broad perspective from many walks of life and stages of life. It really feels like a family.

  My wife and I love this church, especially Pastor Jeff. His sermons are Bible based yet practical and useful in your every day life. He always stresses that the most important thing is your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We joined a small group right away and found it was like being with family, not just on Sunday morning but all throughout the week. It's where the church fulfills the Bible's Great Commission of healing hurts and meeting needs. If you're looking for a place to worship as well as joining a "family", Calvary's the place.
