  Our experience with Striffler Hamby was very upsetting. The funeral home, planned the funeral, they didn't give us a chance to even plan it. We had him cremated, and the picture on the box wasn't even big enough to see. The obituary was wrong. The service was just awful. My grandma was married to him for almost 19 years, his daughter who had nothing to do with him just shows up and takes over. They took her word instead of my grandmas. Our experience was just unbelievablely terrible. We will never use Striffler Hamby again, unless they make changes!

  Not happy at all. My brother looked like a very bad wax figure of some kind. For what my nephew paid, you would think the experience would be better. Had to close the casket for funeral service, due to many comments about how bad he looked. My parents are entombed at Park hill but Striffler-Hamby did NOT have anything to do with the funeral. I did talk to them, however their cost was twice what I paid with another funeral home, plus both of them looked natural. I elected no embalming. I didn't know you don't have to have the deceased embalmed in Ga.
