  Mount Gilead Cemetery is in shambles! If you didn't know it was there you wouldn't know a cemetery was there. It is overgrown and several graves there are in various states of decay. I have asked the rock quarry company that it's next to it if they could help me maintain it and they say it is not their responsibility. I have asked the church to which it is named after, that is up the road about a mile, Mt. Gilead AME and no one responds. It is a TRAVESTY that those who lived life with such DIGNITY during trying times, final resting place is left in such a disgrace! HELP NOW before some developer comes along and puts houses on these graves and these people are lost to their families FOREVER!
